Dyneema Ropes

At Sky, we offer a number of ropes made using Dyneema fibers from 1.5mm diameter to 12mm diameter. These ropes are manufactured either as a single braid or as braid on braid style product with a protective cover. Ropes produced with Dyneema fibers are used in many industries and for many different applications.

World renowned for its high strength properties, Dyneema is used in a variety of applications from yachting halyards to sub-sea moorings as well as in the movie business.

Depending on which quality you require we usually stock SK78, SK99 and DM20 varieties.

Dyneema is a synthetic fiber, chemically known as UHMwPE (Ultra High Molecular weight Polyethylene) or HMPE (High Modulus Polyethylene).
